Meet Ryan

Ryan Ermeling brings a unique blend of business acumen and ministry passion to Seven Marches. A graduate of Concordia University Irvine (where he now serves on the Board of Regents), Ryan founded Stretch Internet in 2003. During his 15 years as President and CEO, he grew Stretch into the largest video streaming provider in the collegiate athletics space, with a client base of nearly 600 colleges and universities in the U.S. and Canada (more than 40 percent of the market). In 2017, Stretch was placed on the Inc. 5000 list as one of the fastest growing privately-held companies in the country.

Feeling called to pursue a model that could benefit Kingdom-minded organizations, Ryan staged a successful exit from Stretch in 2018, when the company was acquired by Battery Ventures, a global, technology-focused investment firm.

Prior to moving to Las Vegas, he served as the President of the Board of Directors at Christ Greenfield Lutheran Church in Gilbert, AZ, where he led efforts to create a 10-year vision, and spearheaded implementation of Dr. John Carver’s Policy Governance model. Ryan also partnered with the Luther Institute Southeast Asia (LISA) in 2016, spending time in Bangkok to teach business concepts to bivocational pastors.

Ryan and his wife, Lyndsay, who serves as the Director of Vocal Music at Faith Lutheran Middle School and High School, have three daughters – Lexi (19), Tessa (16) and Grace (8).

What They’re Saying

“Since I met Ryan in 2017, it was immediately clear I could learn much from him, especially on leading staff in a way that led to great alignment and productivity. His wisdom - in particular around effective ways to organize and run our team meetings with the Seven Marches model - shaped how our FiveTwo staff functions today. He's been a huge blessing both in a facilitator role, working with us in a retreat setting, and in a mentor role, privately coaching me to a higher level of leadership.”

“Ryan understands how to move organizations of all sizes from vision to implementation. Ryan helped our board narrow the focus of our ministry staff's big dreams. He then developed a system to lovingly hold the staff accountable toward executing our dreams. I know he would do the same for you.”

“When you are engaged in ministry, you are involved in the most important business enterprise there is – the business of making disciples!  And because this is such serious business, it is crucial that ministry is run using sound business principles that enable a ministry to plan strategically and intentionally, while still allowing for flexibility, so that a ministry can stay focused and thrive in carrying out its mission. Seven Marches provides the framework for equipping ministry to do just that.”
