March Two: Map

We call this March the “Map” for a reason. It’s your opportunity to plot a destination, and here’s the thing about final destinations – there’s only one of them. You can’t set your GPS for 5 or 10 or 15 final destinations. You might schedule some stops along the way, or even need to reroute if you come across obstacles, but the destination remains singular and unchanged.

That kind of focus can be a bit scary – if you’re focusing on a singular destination, you better make sure it’s the right one. Your journey through March One provided a DNA swab, so we know your predispositions and make-up. Now, you’ll use tools designed to look at where you’ve already been (what have you learned?) and where you’re at right now (what are your problems, opportunities and challenges?) to hone in on the final coordinates. You’ll emerge from March Two with a precise, singular and focused destination.

Using our proprietary and practical tools, you’ll answer these questions:

Where have we been?
Where are we now?
Where are we headed?

As with all of our marches, we’ll help you think differently by applying concepts and principles from the world of business. In March Two, we’ll analyze UPS, 1-800-GOTJUNK? and Apple among others.

“A CEO must provide the company and its senior team with a road map. A lot of work is complex and requires intense amounts of focus and energy, but this kind of messaging is fairly simple: This is where we want to be. This is how we’re going to get there. Once those things are laid out simply, so many decisions become easier to make , and the overall anxiety of an entire organization is lowered.”

Bob Iger, Former Disney CEO
